Reflection #3

As I completed the course work for this week in my Web Business Creation class, I was able to consider the true implications for some of my business ideas. The first project for this class walked us through the reality of business ideas, plans, and outcomes. I realized that some of my hobbies should stay just that. Between startup costs, time required, and effort required to be successful it would not make sense to turn those interests into businesses. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to learn this lesson now. I had so many business ideas in my head with absolutely no idea how successful one of these businesses would actually be. I love that this course dives into the real life repercussions of our decisions. It is not hypothetical like most other college courses but actually shows the ups and downs of starting our own web based business.
